When you create a Ritva account, we collect the information necessary to establish, secure, and manage your account.
Account creation requires a valid email address and password at minimum. You may optionally provide your name, company name, and other profile details to personalize your experience.
Authentication is handled via secure credential verification. Passwords are never stored in plain text; they are hashed using industry-standard cryptographic methods before storage.
Profile management — you may update your account information at any time from within your account settings. Changes take effect immediately.
Subscription management — your active plan, billing cycle, payment method status, and usage data are stored in association with your account.
Account security — we implement reasonable technical measures to protect your account, including session management and access controls. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@ritva.ai.
5. Website & URL Analysis Data
Website and URL analysis is a core function of the Ritva Platform. When you submit URLs or domains for analysis, the following processing may occur:
- Crawling — Ritva's systems may automatically request and retrieve publicly accessible content from submitted URLs
- Analysis — technical attributes, content structure, metadata, on-page signals, and performance indicators are extracted and analyzed
- Processing — raw crawl data is transformed into structured audit outputs, reports, and recommendations
- Internal indexing — analyzed data may be stored internally to enable historical comparisons, trend analysis, and report generation
- Audit generation — processed data is used to generate SEO audits, visibility assessments, and strategic recommendations
User responsibility: By submitting a URL to Ritva, you represent and warrant that you own the submitted website or domain, or that you have received explicit authorization from the website owner to submit it for analysis. Ritva is not responsible for unauthorized URL submissions.
Ritva does not claim any ownership over websites or content analyzed through the Platform. Analysis outputs are subject to the AI-Generated Content Disclaimer in our Terms of Use.
6. Search Visibility & Discovery Data
Ritva is an AI Visibility Infrastructure Platform — not simply an SEO tool. A core part of the Platform's function is measuring, modeling, and improving your presence across search engines, AI discovery surfaces, and digital channels. In the course of providing these services, Ritva may collect, process, compute, and store the following categories of visibility data:
- Search visibility signals — indicators of how content appears and performs in search engine results, including rankings, impressions, and organic performance data
- AI discovery indicators — signals relating to whether and how your content, brand, or entity is recognized and surfaced by AI-powered discovery systems
- Entity presence data — information about how your brand, products, people, or organization are represented across the web and in knowledge systems
- Content coverage measurements — analysis of which topics, keywords, and subject areas your content addresses and where gaps exist
- Platform visibility metrics — presence and performance data across indexed platforms including web, social, video, and programmatic channels
- Authority and relevance indicators — signals used to assess the credibility, relevance, and topical authority of submitted domains and content
- Comparative visibility benchmarks — aggregated and anonymized comparative data used to contextualize your visibility performance relative to industry patterns
This data is generated from your submitted URLs, connected integrations, and publicly accessible information. It is used exclusively to deliver and improve Ritva's visibility analysis and reporting features. Visibility data is not sold or shared with third parties outside the service delivery context described in this Policy.
7. Connected Integrations
Ritva may support integrations with third-party platforms and services that you choose to connect to your account. Current and future integrations may include services such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, content management systems, and social media platforms.
When you connect a third-party integration:
- You authorize Ritva to access information made available through that integration, to the extent permitted by your authorization
- Data accessed via integrations is used solely to provide the functionality you have requested within the Platform
- Ritva will only request the minimum permissions necessary to deliver the connected feature
- You may revoke integration access at any time through your account settings or through the third-party platform's own authorization controls
Scope of integration data: The specific data accessed depends on the integration and the permissions you grant. Ritva does not access integration data beyond what is necessary for the requested functionality and will not use integration data for purposes unrelated to your use of the Platform.
Third-party integrations are subject to the privacy policies of the respective platforms. Ritva is not responsible for the data practices of third-party services you choose to connect.
8. AI Processing & Generated Outputs
Ritva's Platform relies on large language models and other AI systems to deliver core functionality. This section explains how your data interacts with these systems.
8.1 How AI Processing Works
- Input processing — content you submit, URLs you provide, prompts you write, and analysis requests you initiate are transmitted to AI systems for processing
- Output generation — AI models generate content recommendations, SEO strategies, visibility insights, and written drafts in response to your inputs
- Output storage — AI-generated outputs associated with your account may be stored within the Platform to support report history, re-generation, and comparative analysis
- Prompt retention — prompts and instructions you submit may be retained for a limited period for quality assurance, debugging, and service continuity purposes
8.2 No AI Training Without Consent
Ritva does not use your submitted content, URLs, prompts, or AI-generated outputs to train AI models without your explicit consent.
This applies to:
- Content and copy you submit to the Platform
- Website data derived from your submitted URLs
- Prompts and instructions you provide to AI features
- AI-generated outputs produced for your account
Aggregated, fully anonymized, and de-identified usage patterns (not tied to any individual user or account) may be used to improve Platform performance. This does not constitute training on customer content.
8.3 Third-Party AI Providers
Ritva's AI features are powered by third-party large language model providers operating on Ritva's behalf. Your inputs may be transmitted to these providers for processing. We contractually require these providers to handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy standards and to not use your data for their own model training. See Section 11 for details on our AI providers.
9. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

After the grace period expires, your personal data will be permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymized, except where retention is required by law or where data has been incorporated into aggregated, anonymized datasets that cannot be disaggregated. Deletion of your account results in permanent loss of access to your reports, history, and outputs stored within the Platform.
Billing and legal retention: Certain billing, tax, fraud prevention, audit, and legal compliance records may be retained after account deletion where required by applicable law. Where retained, such records will be anonymized or de-identified to remove personally identifiable information to the extent permitted by the relevant legal obligation.
To request account deletion, contact support@ritva.ai or use the account deletion option in your account settings.
14. Data Security

- Access controls — access to production systems and customer data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis
- Authentication — internal access to sensitive systems requires multi-factor authentication
- Monitoring — we implement logging, alerting, and anomaly detection on our infrastructure
- Vendor security — third-party providers are evaluated for security practices before engagement
- Incident response — we maintain procedures for detecting, containing, and responding to data security incidents
No system is completely secure. While we apply reasonable safeguards, Ritva cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@ritva.ai.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
15. International Data Transfers

However, the third-party services we use to deliver the Platform — including AI providers, cloud infrastructure, analytics tools, and payment processors — may process and store data in jurisdictions outside of India, including in the United States and the European Union.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions, which may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country of residence.
Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure that appropriate contractual and technical safeguards are in place, consistent with applicable data protection requirements.
